YMCA Summer Camp

Summer camp at the Y is more than a fun summer experience. Our programs are driven by our mission to create relationships and offer programs that provide a healthy start for youth and teens in our community.

All YMCA Summer Camp programs reinforce our focus of Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility and offer children the chance to develop new skills, make new friends, learn the value of cooperation, build self-reliance, maintain strong moral values, develop skills for living develop a sense of well-being, and learn respect for the environment. 

Our staff are selected for their special skills and experience, as well as their personality and ability to work with children. All staff are carefully screened and interviewed through a state-administered child abuse and criminal history check, three reference checks, and staff trainings which include CPR and first aid.
