pa reciprocityLower Bucks Family YMCA is proud to be a member of the PA State Alliance of YMCAs, which now offers member reciprocity at almost all Pennsylvania branches. Your membership at the Y is now valid at most YMCAs in Pennsylvania so get out and explore all that our great state has to offer while staying connected to the Y.

The policy at each Y is different but the first visit to your non-home YMCA may require an intake process including a membership form, photo taken, ID check and national sex offender registry check. Membership at your home YMCA will also be verified at that time. Members must attend their home YMCA 50% of their total visits.

MEMBER RECIPROCITY FAQ

Q: With the Reciprocity Program, are members from other Ys permitted to attend group exercise and group water classes?​

A:  YES​, as long as they are not fee based. They must be FREE classes.

Q: It there a minimum number of visits per month or is it unlimited?​

A:  Visiting members must use their home Y at least 50% of the time and check-in with the Welcome Center they arrive. On their first visit, they will be setup in our system as a reciprocity member.

Q: Are Silver Sneakers members eligible for the Reciprocity Membership benefits? 

A: No, if a visitor is a Silver Sneakers at their home Y, they are not members who have the benefit of reciprocity.​

Q: I'm a reciprocity member and I'd like to bring my grandson who is not a member to participate in free youth programs and swim in the pool. Can I?

A: No, each member of your party needs to be a member of a PA YMCA or they are subject to a guest fee.
